Our courses

In 2009, our Nachiappa Swamigal Polytechnic college was established in Koviloor, under the leadership of our revered Gurumaga Sannithanam Sri la Sri Nachiappa Gnana Deshika Swamigal. The college commenced its journey with five departments: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Initially, it started with 60 students each department, totaling intake of 300 students.Thiru. Meiyappan and Thiru. Jeyaseelan served as the Correspondent and Principal, respectively.

In October 2011, after the demise of Sri La Sri Nachiappa Gnana Deshika Swamigal, Sri La Sri Meiyappa Gnana Desika Swamigal came to the position and additional seats were allocated to the Mechanical Engineering department increasing the intake to 60 students.

In 2015, Thiru. Jeyaseelan attained his retirement, and since then, Thiru.DR.R Mayandy has been serving as the principal. In the year 2023, after the demise of Sri La Sri Meiyappa Gnana Desika Swamigal, Sri la Sri Narayana Gnana Desika Swamigal took over as the new Madathipathy and also served as the correspondent of the College. From June 2023 Thiru. DR.M.Veerappan has been working as the Correspondent of the college.
